Society for Promotion of New Music

In addition to our confirmed schedule of performances for the 2006-2007 season, Lewisham Choral Society has exciting plans for the 2007-2008 season.

We are still confirming the exact details of our programme for next season, but our plans for 2007 include a performance of Verdi's Requiem in November and Part One of Handel's Messiah in December.

In 2008, our plans include a spring concert of American-themed music featuring works by Copland, Barber and the spirituals from Tippett's A Child of Our Time. This will be followed by a performance of David Fanshawe's African Sanctus in June.
